Improve and expand your physical stage presence as a musician / performer.
This workshop focuses on improvisation through movement, breath & music/sound. An opportunity to practice making compositional choices on the spot by being fully present and aware.
Learning to receive and react physically in the moment will bring liveliness and playfulness to your performance, opening the door to creative expression.
About the teacher:
Virág Dezsö has developed the MoM approach through years of performing and teaching in the field of movement and music theatre. She currently teaches at Conservatorium van Amsterdam and Codarts University for the Arts in Rotterdam.
Learn the technical and artistic fundamentals that will enable you to create effective and captivating stage light for physical performances.
This workshop explores the practical, technical and artistic aspects of (analogue) theatrical lighting relating to the performing body and the space around it. Participants are actively involved in setting up, handling and executing different lighting scenarios. Our hands-on approach allows you to physically try out and experience different possibilities and effects, under the helpful guidance of experts from the field.
Explore and deepen your physical performance skills by learning about masks and how they influence movement, gesture, and storytelling. The neutral mask brings the focus to our pure physical expression, making it a great tool to work on stage presence and physical acting skills.
Aleksandar Acev has a long trajectory as performer, maker and teacher and is an expert in physical theatre, body language and mask work. His approach opens up a dynamic environment for the exploration of physical expression and artistic discovery.
Discover beautiful and surprising ways of connecting with other bodies by lifting, supporting and being supported. This class is open to movers of any level or background.
Marjolein Wagter is an expert in the field of circus and partner acrobatics and a seasoned performer, maker and teacher. She will explain the fundamentals of giving and receiving support and guides participants through a safe and playful exploration of the endless possibilities of partner work.
